Everybody is special
Everyone knows that everybody is different . But do they know everybody is special ? Well , they should . Do you remember Martin Luther King . He had a dream . It was not fair that black and white people couldn't be friends together . Even though , everybody is different , that doesn't mean everybody can't be friends together . Lately , people been treating people , not the way they want to be treated . So , if you see somebody treating someone not nice , tell that person to stop it right away . You would be a big help to the world . Martin Luther King would appreciate your attitude . So , feel free to speak up to any person that's being unkind . And always remember that everybody is special .

Wow, those are some very powerful words! I have been feeling very sad about a friend who hasn't been treated very nice lately. My friends all want to stick up for her but don't know how. You're right, everyone needs to be friends and treat people fairly! Love the new blog!!!!
I'd forgotten that Human Right's Day is in January, and you probably just celebrated it and got a day off school. Good job for remembering why you got the break! MLK was an important man, and you summarized his message very well, Carter!
You know who is special? A boy I know named Carter Bear. He is kind, smart, got the bluest eyes of anyone I know and I miss him when he is gone. He is special!
